Obituary for Barbara Gladys Price (Rose)

Mrs. Barbara Price, age 65, of Swords Creek, Virginia, passed away Saturday (October 22, 2022) in a Lebanon, Virginia hospital. Born September 6, 1957 in Richlands, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Millard and Gladys Helton Rose. A lifelong resident of the area, she was a member of the Richlands Tabernacle. She had formerly been employed as a substitute cafeteria worker at several area school. She enjoyed gardening, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Clyde Wilson, her second husband, Junior Price, and one son, Keith Price.
Survivors include nine children, Edward Wilson and girlfriend, Mary Robinson of Richlands, Linda Jasso and husband, Augustine of Texas, Mickey Wilson and girlfriend, Nancy Brooks of Honaker, Juanita Price of the home, Kyle Price and wife, Courtney of Finney, Diane Taylor and husband, Jack of Honaker, Teresa Stevens of Lebanon, Kelvin Price and wife, Ashley of Lebanon, and Kermit Price and wife, Mary of Lady Smith, Virginia; one brother, Avery Rose and wife, Sherry of Honaker; grandchildren, Connor Price, Landon Price, Brantley Price, Kyla Price, Jordan Wilson, and Corey Cook; many additional grandchildren, great-grandchildren, friends, and church family.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Life Saving Crews of Honaker, Russell County Medical Center, ICU Nurses and Staff, and Dr. Trenton Keel.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12 Noon Thursday at the Richlands Tabernacle in Richlands, Virginia with Rev. Phillip Horton and Rev. James Vance officiating. Interment will follow in the Family Cemetery at Finney, Virginia.
Pallbearers will be Chris Vance, Jimmy Richardson, Chad Rose, Kevin Rose, Donnie Keene, and Brandon Owens.
Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Rose, Rev. Bob Osborne, and the men of Richlands Tabernacle.
The family will receive friends at the Richlands Tabernacle after 6 PM Wednesday, where an evening service will be conducted at 7:00 PM with Rev. Steve Perkins and Rev. Roger Boyd officiating.
