Mrs. Beatrice F. Price, age 87, of Rosedale, Virginia, passed away Sunday (March 5, 2023) in an Abingdon, Virginia hospital. Born July 3, 1935 in Russell County, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Willie and Hettie Hubbard Fogleman. She was a 1953 graduate of Honaker High School and had formerly been employed at Packard Instrument as an Expeditor in Chicago. She was a member of Rosedale Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening and sewing.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Cynthia Bahen; two sisters, Mary Ruth Darnell and Joann Honaker; and one great-grandson, Sawyer Armstrong.
Survivors include her husband of sixty-eight years, Henry Price of Rosedale; one son, Dwain Price and wife, Penny of San Diego, California; one sister, Mildred Honaker of Honaker; three grandchildren, Sara Armstrong and Joe Bahen both of Chesapeake, Virginia, and Taylor Price of San Diego, California; three great-grandchildren, Olivia Armstrong, Piper Armstrong, and Sloane Armstrong; son-in-law, Dan Bahen of Chesapeake, Virginia; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Monday at Greenhills Memory Gardens in Claypool Hill, Virginia with Rev. Larry Burton officiating.
