Obituary for Becky Jo Hargis (Wright)
Mrs. Becky Jo Wright Hargis, age 69, of the Laurel Branch Road section of Vansant, Virginia, passed away Tuesday (March 24, 2020) in a Richlands, Virginia hospital. Born October 22, 1950 in Detroit, Michigan, she was a daughter of the late Seaborn Paul and Betty Jean Wilhelm Wright. She had spent most of her adult life in the area and was of the Christian faith. She enjoyed fishing, dancing, watching Andy Griffith and Jimmy Swaggert, but most of all spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Farley Hargis, and infant twin siblings.
Survivors include three sons, Dale Hargis and wife, Misty, David Hargis and wife, Christy, and Daniel Hargis and wife, Amanda; one daughter, Tina Hargis-Presley; twelve grandchildren, Amy Hargis, Shane Hargis, Trevor Hargis, Natalie Hargis, Blake Hargis, Chistopher Hargis, Tiffany Hargis-Stacy, Nichele Hargis, Sebastian “C-Bass” Hargis, Samantha Presley, Jeremy Presley, and Jared Presley; six great-grandchildren, Grayson Woods, Aiden Stiltner, Skyleigh Stacy, Greyson Stacy, Tifa Hargis, and Victus Hargis; four siblings, Timothy Wright and fiancée, Shannon Maday, Gladys Howard and husband, Raymond, Nancy Richardson and husband, Terry, and Wendell Wright and wife, Peggy; several nieces and nephews also survive.
In consideration of health and well-being of others, the funeral service will be a private family gathering with Rev. Roy Lee Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Ketron Memorial Gardens in Lebanon, Virginia.
