Mrs. Beulah Dye, age 84 of Rowe, Virginia went to be with the Lord on Thursday night (April 23, 2020) at her home. Born March 21, 1936 in Buchanan County, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late John W. and Ollie Street. A lifelong resident of the area, she was a member of Rowe Pentecostal Holiness Church and Drill Senior Citizens. She had owned and operated Keen Grocery along with her husband, Edd and had formerly been a school bus driver.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Edd Keen, her second husband, Hadley McGlothlin and her third husband, Rev. Ralph Dye; one daughter, Tina Keen; two brothers, Lawrence Street and wife, Lois and Junior Street and wife, Hazel; three sisters, Hazel Street, Annabelle Eaton and husband, James and Ilene Rasnake and husband, Bernard; son-in-law, Donnie Woodward; granddaughters, Veronica Ann Blankenship and Lexi Harless. In her generation, she was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Survivors include her children, Betty Sue Woodward of Bristol, Virginia, Margaret Blankenship and husband Ronnie of Abingdon, Virginia, Frank Keen and wife, Rebal of Russell Prater, Virginia, Gertrude Crosby and husband, George of Grundy, Virginia, Martha Campbell and husband, “Bounce”, Joe Keen and wife, Wanda, Rita Blankenship and husband Keith and Diane “P-Nut” Cook and husband, Ronnie all of Rowe, Virginia; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Becky, Carrie and Ashley and the entire staff of Legacy Hospice for the wonderful care they provided.
In consideration of health and well-being of others and in respect of the guidelines of the CDC and the Commonwealth of Virginia services will be a private family gathering with Rev. Troy Lester officiating. Interment will follow in the Street Cemetery at Rowe, Virginia.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
