Mr. Billy Otis Robinette, age 70, of Raven, Virginia passed away Friday (January 17, 2020) in a Richlands, Virginia hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born September 1, 1949 in Swords Creek, Virginia, he was a son of the late John Reece Robinette and Susan Exie Plaster Robinette. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John and Nancy Childress Robinette, his maternal grandparents, Mark and Mary Richardson Plaster, one brother-in-law, Kenneth Mitchell, and one nephew, Keith Whited.
Survivors include two daughters, Renee May and Christina White and husband, Brian; two sons, Kevin Robinette, and Dustin Robinette and wife, Danielle; nine grandchildren, Tyler Robinette and wife, Brantley, Leann May, Laken Robinette, Tanner Robinette, Braum Robinette, Amara Robinette, Brett White, Rand Robinette, and Maelah Robinette; two great-grandchildren, Chase Robinette and Cydnee Robinette; one brother, Kenneth Robinette and wife, Emily; seven sisters, Annabelle Peck and husband, Arnold, Carrie Fletcher and husband, Red, Doris Whited and husband, Bobby, Truedell Robinette and companion, Del Davis, and Barbara Whited and husband, Dallas, Kathleen Mitchell, and Dottie Miller and husband, Wayne; special friends, Beverly Foleno, Hazel Blankenship, and Kim Richardson; eight nieces and two nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Sunday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Rev. David Perkins and Rev. Dennis White officiating. Interment will follow at the Richardson Cemetery at Swords Creek, Virginia.
Pallbearers will be Alfred Wicks, Woody Richardson, Tyler Robinette, Eugene Whited, Brett White, Jamie Fletcher, Scotty Whited, Braum Robinette, and Terry Short.
The family will receive friends at the Honaker Funeral Home on Sunday from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM.
