Mr. Bobby Hill, age 76, of Raven, Virginia, passed away Tuesday (February 4, 2020) in a Richlands, Virginia hospital. Born October 12, 1943 in Oak Hill, West Virginia, he was a son of the late Woodrow Wilson and Ernie Dale Hill. He had resided most of his life in the area and had formerly been employed as a boss at VP #1 for Island Creek Coal Company. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and raising a garden.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Percilla Hill, one sister, Carolyn Sue Miller, and one brother, Billy Ray Hill.
Survivors include two brothers, Jim Hill and Donnie Hill both of Vansant, Virginia; one sister, Betty Jean Matney of Mt. Carmel, Tennessee; special niece caregiver, Andrea Owens of Raven; special friends, Jerry Bowman and J.J. Sexton.
Graveside services will be conducted at 12 Noon Friday at Greenhills Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Claypool Hill, Virginia with Ministers Bob Smith and Rusty Owens.
