Mrs. Carlene Huffman Wilson, age 59, of Raven, Virginia, formally of Lebanon, Virginia, passed away Wednesday (January 29, 2020) in a Bristol, Tennessee hospital. Born April 7, 1960 in Wise County, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Carl and Nellie Mae Wright Huffman. Having spent most of her life in the area, she was a 1979 Graduate of Lebanon High School. She loved working with horses and was an owner of the Tack Shack in Swords Creek, Virginia.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Carl Wayne Huffman.
Survivors include her husband of 20 years, Burton Wilson of the home; three daughters, Chelsi Akers and fiancé, Willie Meade of Kingsport, Tennessee, Celina Dye and husband, Jared of Swords Creek, Virginia and Chelsey Wilson of Honaker, Virginia; two grandchildren, Ebany Dye and Lennox Honaker: two sisters, Debbie Dale and husband, Greg of Lebanon, Virginia, Joan Combs and husband, Dwayne of Lebanon, Virginia and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Rev. Virgil Musick officiating. Entombment will follow in Ketron Memorial Gardens Mausoleum at Lebanon, Virginia.
Pallbearers will be Kelly McGuire, Chandler Hale, Shannon Comer, Jacob Musick, Keith Dye and Rick Keen.
The family will receive friends at the Honaker Funeral Home after 6:00 PM on Friday, where an evening service will be conducted at 7:00 PM with Rev. Travis Fletcher officiating.
