Obituary

Carol Jean Peck, age 54, of Honaker, Virginia passed away Saturday (July 11, 2020) in an Abingdon, Virginia hospital. Born January 23, 1966 in Richlands, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Rosie Peck. A lifelong resident of the area, she attended Ivy Springs Baptist Church at Swords Creek, Virginia and had formerly been employed at Pizza Plus of Honaker. She enjoyed cooking and making homemade candy.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her grandmother, Minnie Peck and several aunts and uncles.
Survivors include two brothers, Johnny Peck and wife, Lynn of Rosedale, Virginia and Rick Peck and wife, Donna of Honaker, Virginia; niece, Jessica Cook and husband, Jason of Greenville, South Carolina; nephew, Jon-Everett Peck of Rosedale, Virginia; great-nieces, Payton Peck and Sydney Cook and great-nephew, Reid Cook; aunts and uncles, Arnold and Annie Bell Peck and Betty and Miguel Restrepo.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 PM Tuesday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roy Lee Wilson and Rev. Phillip Cook officiating. Interment will follow in the Ketron Memorial Gardens in Lebanon, Virginia.
Relatives and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at Honaker Funeral Home after 6 PM Monday.
