Mrs. Celesta Lynn Arwood Harris, age 54, of Honaker, Virginia, passed away Monday (July 27, 2020) in a Kingsport, Tennessee hospital. Born September 12, 1965 in Manassas, Virginia, she was a daughter of Betty Ward Arwood of Honaker and the late Lawrence Arwood. She had lived most of her life in the Honaker area and was a graduate of Honaker High School. Having a smile that lit up a room, she was a loving and caring wife, mother, sister, and friend.
In addition to her mother, survivors include her husband of thirty-two years, Benny Harris of the home; one daughter, Mandy Barrett and husband, Josh of Honaker; two sisters, Rita McGlothlin and husband, Ronnie of Rowe, and Beth Dye of Kingsport, Tennessee; one brother, Tony Arwood of Honaker; several nieces, nephews, and many cousins also survive.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Richcrest Nursing Home in Duffield, Virginia, Holston Valley Medical Center ICU, and Wilcox Hall Nursing Staff for the love and care they provided.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Friday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Bro. Gary Charles officiating. Interment will follow in Ketron Memorial Gardens at Lebanon, Virginia.
Relatives and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the Honaker Funeral Home on Friday from 12 Noon until the funeral hour.
