Connie Charlene Sims Beavers, age 66, of the Belfast section of Russell County, Virginia, passed away Friday (February 11, 2022) in Canyon, Texas. Born December 4, 1955 in Russell County, she was a daughter of the late James and Leona Mae Harris Sims. A lifelong resident of the area, she was a graduate of Honaker High School and was a member of Community Heights Baptist Church. She loved animals and tending to her plants, but most of all spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include two daughters, Kesha Talbert and husband, Jamie of Frederick, Maryland and Kelli Beavers of Canyon, Texas; one brother, Dewey Sims and wife, Sharon of Swords Creek, Virginia; many loving and caring cousins and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Friday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia. Interment will follow in Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, Virginia.
Relatives and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 12 – 1 PM Friday at the Honaker Funeral Home.
