Mr. Danny Clarence Cline, age 61, of Rosedale, Virginia, passed away Friday (December 25, 2020) in Rosedale, Virginia. Born October 20, 1959 in Buchanan County, Virginia, he was a son of Bonnie Compton Cline of Rosedale and the late Bobby L. Cline. A lifelong resident of the southwest Virginia area, he was a member of Claypool Hill Church of Christ and had formerly been employed as a law enforcement officer with the Town of Honaker. He enjoyed volunteering as activity director at Burke’s Manor, watching Virginia Tech football, and loved animals, but most of all spending time with his family. He was a loving son, husband, brother, uncle, and Pa “Hokie” to his grandchildren.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife, Vickie Cline of the home; two step-daughters, Cynthia Stevens and husband, Brian and Tonya Barrett and husband, John; five grandchildren, Aslynn Stevens, Mekala Stevens, Brandon Barrett, Ryan Barrett, and Mason Barrett; one brother, Mike Cline and wife, Vicki; and nieces, Mickie, Kristen, Gillian, and Willow.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Tuesday in Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, Virginia with Bro. Bob Smith officiating. Interment will follow.
Those wishing to attend are asked to assemble at the cemetery.
