Mr. Shane Meadows, age 29, of Pilgrims Knob, Virginia, passed away Wednesday (April 8, 2020) in a Grundy, Virginia hospital. Born July 6, 1990 in Richlands, Virginia, he was a son of Terry Meadows and the late Sherry Lynn Mullins Meadows. He was a 2010 graduate of Twin Valley High School and was currently employed as an industrial tile layer with Ceramic Technology, Inc. He enjoyed woodworking and fishing.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his half-brother, Bradley Russell Blankenship; paternal grandparents, Loran and Vernie Meadows, and maternal grandparents, Raymond and Shirley Short.
In addition to his father, survivors include his half-brothers and half-sisters, Robert Mullins, Terry Douglas Meadows, Tara Justus, Dee Compton, and Angela Meadows; friend, Brenda Patterson; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In consideration of health and well-being of others, services will be a private family gathering with Rev. Lee Roy Rife officiating. Interment will follow in the Meadows-Vance Cemetery at Page, Virginia.
Relatives and friends will serve as pallbearers.
