Obituary for Devonie Geraldine Hull (Dye)
Mrs. Devonie Geraldine Hull, age 79, of Raven, Virginia, passed away Sunday (January 26, 2020) in a Richlands, Virginia hospital. Born February 25, 1940 in Tazewell County, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Patton Harvey and Minti Caroline Compton Dye. She had spent her early life in the area, moving to Granite Falls, North Carolina for employment, and had recently moved back to Raven. She was of the Holiness faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Sullivan and Henry Leon Hull; two sons, Danny Harold Clark and Michael Dean Clark; one daughter, Judy Carol Clark; three sisters, Margie Dye, Betty Jean Mickles and Vertie Hess; and two brothers, Delmer Dye and Teddy Dye.
Survivors include one daughter Teresa Clark of Raven; one sister, Ann Honaker of Honaker; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday at Greenhills Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Claypool Hill, Virginia with Rev. Steve Perkins and Rev. David Perkins officiating. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to assemble at the cemetery.
