Mr. Donald Lee Simmons, age 55, of Rowe, Virginia, passed away Sunday (December 26, 2021) at his home. Born May 31, 1966 in Prince William County, Virginia, he was a son of the late Jimmy Ray Simmons and Ann Proctor Byrd Simmons. He had lived in Rowe for the past seven years, moving there from the Northern Virginia area. He enjoyed hunting, bowling, and visiting flea markets.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Dale Martin.
Survivors include his wife of thirty years, Gloria Simmons of the home; children, Teddy Cole and wife, Diana of Manassas, William Robert Garner of Rowe, Anthony Simmons, of Princeton, Christina Simmons of West Virginia, and Emma Ray Lantz of Mechanicsville; eight grandchildren and several brothers and sisters also survive.
Memorial services will be conducted at a later date.
