Mr. Easley Miller, age 92, of Honaker, Virginia, passed away Thursday (November 5, 2020) at his home. Born December 14, 1927 in Russell County, he was a son of the late Shade William and Maude Powers Miller. A lifelong resident of the area, he was a member of East Lebanon Freewill Baptist Church. He had formerly been employed as a contractor for over sixty years. He enjoyed gardening, but most of all spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers and four sisters.
Survivors include his loving wife of seventy-six years, Mary Ellen Miller of the home; one daughter, Shirley Fuller and husband, the late Larry Fuller of Rosedale; three sons, Cecil Miller and wife, Rachel of Rosedale, Earl Miller and wife, Denise of Swords Creek, and Gerald Miller and wife, Gayle of Bristol, Virginia; grandchildren, Jeff Miller, Tonya Maxfield, Lynnette Compton, Janette Miller, Heath Miller, Amanda Meade, Chance Miller, and Zachary Miller; step-grandchildren, Judy Schreiner and Sally Shupe; one brother, Hassell Miller of Newport, Virginia; nineteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren also survive.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you for the love, care, and support from their loving neighborhood, especially Dean and Connie Vance.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Rev. Larry Robinson officiating. Interment will follow in Ketron Memorial Gardens in Lebanon, Virginia.
Pallbearers will be his grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the Honaker Funeral Home from 12:30 PM until the funeral hour.
