Mrs. Hazel Louise White Street, age 82, of Honaker, Virginia, passed away Sunday (May 2, 2021) in a Richlands, Virginia hospital. Born January 15, 1939 in Russell County, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Conley and Gaynell Stump White. A lifelong resident of the area, she had formerly been employed as a seamstress for Honaker Mills and Lebanon Apparel. She enjoyed attending horse shows and playing bingo, but most of all spending time with her family and playing with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her spouse Dennis Street, two sons, Marty Lane Street and infant, Gary Wayne Street, and two sisters, Joann Hart and Mary Ellen Puckett.
Survivors include two children, Mike Street and wife, Linda of Elk Garden and Deanna Street And Tim Gibson of Honaker; grandchildren, Kelli Armstrong and husband, Justin, Marty Ray Street and wife, Chelsea, Monica Edwards and husband, Anthony, and Mica Ferguson and husband, Anthony; step-grandson, Brian Robinette and wife, Melissa; great-grandchildren, Denton Edwards, Cashton Edwards, Lucas Armstrong, Bella Armstrong, Walker Street, Sara Street, and Landon Street; one sister, Thelma White; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Rev. Roy Lee Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at the Street Cemetery in the Hart’s Creek section of Cleveland, Virginia.
Due to COVID restrictions mandated by the governor, a mask is required. For those unable or uncomfortable attending, the funeral service will be livestreamed on our Facebook page as well as our webpage.
Relatives and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the Honaker Funeral Home after 6:00 PM Tuesday.
