Mrs. Ida Belle Bostic Wilson, age 94, of Copperhead Road section of Council, Virginia, passed away Tuesday (December 1, 2020) in a Richlands, Virginia hospital. Born June 20, 1926 in Buchanan County, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Edd and Mary Bostic. A lifelong resident of the area, she attended Trinity Freewill Baptist Church and loved spending time reading her Bible. She had formerly been employed as a cook at Council Elementary School. She enjoyed coloring, gardening and canning, and took great pride in her flower beds. She was talented with her needlework, especially quilting and crocheting.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Wilson, two sons, Cecil Wilson and Donald Wilson, grandson-in-law, Jason Baldwin, six brothers, Curtis, Henry, Dewey, Ervin, Ellis, and Eugene Bostic, and three sisters, Grace Keen, Velva Wilson, and Thelma Rasnake.
Survivors include three sons, Estil Wilson and wife, Gaynell of Council, Conel Wilson and wife, Christine of Lebanon, and Ralph Wilson and wife, Martha of Cloverdale; five grandchildren, Keith Wilson and wife, Tammy, Harvey Wilson and wife, Daniela, Adam Wilson and wife Angela, Melissa Wilson, and Michael Wilson and wife, Lindsay; four great-grandchildren, Christian Wilson, Brianna Wilson, Shane Wilson, and Henley Wilson; three brothers, Claude Bostic, Herman Bostic and wife, Loretta, and Jess Bostic and wife, Linda; three sisters, Angie Combs, Letha Wilson, and Beulah Ball; many nieces and nephews also survive.

In consideration of COVID 19 and the health of others, services will be a private family service. Due to COVID restrictions mandated by the governor, a mask is required.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, great-grandsons, James Ball, family, and friends.
