Mr. Jerry Lee Plaster, age 72, of the Pine Creek section of Swords Creek, Virginia, passed away Sunday (May 8, 2022) at his home. Born December 29, 1949 in Russell County, Virginia, he was a son of the late Cecil and Virginia Mae Richardson Plaster. A lifelong resident of the area, he was a 1970 graduate of Honaker High School and was of the Pentecostal faith. He had retired from Ingersoll-Rand and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruby Darlene Whited and Brenda Sue Perkins.
Survivors include two brothers, David Wayne Plaster of Swords Creek and Larry Cecil Plaster and wife, Tamara of Rosedale; special nephew, Jon Plaster; several additional nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Rev. Jim Richardson and Rev. Ellis Whited officiating. Interment will follow in the Family Cemetery at Pine Creek, Virginia.
Pallbearers will be Jon Plaster, Braydon Plaster, Tim Boyd, Dallas Whited, Junior Richardson, and Bill Houchins.
The family will receive friends at the Honaker Funeral Home after 6:00 PM Wednesday.
