Nothing was more important to her than God and her family. 2 Corinthians 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Peggy Young and Lillian Pollard.
Survivors include her husband of forty-seven years, Arnold Bostic of the home; three daughters, Trena Hubbard of Honaker, Heather Keen and husband, Michael of Swords Creek, and Kayla Halsey of Pounding Mill; six grandchildren, Logan Farmer, A.J. Farmer, Kaiden Keen, Kyler Keen, Haidyn Halsey, and Dawson Halsey; two great-grandchildren, Paisley Farmer and Griffin Farmer; four sisters, Delores Harris and husband, Bruce, Valery Breedlove, Sylvia Hubbard, and Clarissa Young; one brother, Allen Hubbard; sons-in-law, Chris Halsey and Byron Farmer; many nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Thursday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Ministers Randy Taylor and Mark Gaminde officiating. Interment will follow in Ketron Memorial Gardens at Lebanon, Virginia.
