We knew him as Popeye. Not a day went by that he didn't call and very few that he wasn't at my house. I dont own a vehicle that he didn't help work on. He helped me with everything even when things got rough he tried so hard to make it better. I will never forget the true friend that he was to me. We set for hours and talked you couldn't stay mad around him because he would do something to make you laugh. I didn't even have to ask him for help if I was doing something when he called he would say I will be right there. Sure enough he would be right here. I'm gonna miss him so much. I've never had such a true friend that has stood by me the way he did. I wish we had more time there was so much that we had planned on doing together. I'm not sure now I can finish the things we had planned. He told me so many times that he loved me. I wish now I would have told him that I loved him instead of just saying I know you do. I wish I could hear him tell me just one more time. I hope he knew that he meant alot to me just as I did to him.

My heart is sad tonight in hearing a friend was called out so soon. . I knew Kelly from the old days of Cruising in Richlands and once I met him we became instant friends. I would see him on occasion when I would be out and about and he was still the same Kelly and he defiantly was one of a kind. He had a kind heart and was always so nice. Always with that smile and soft-spoken voice. He is gone from this life but not forgotten. My prayers are for his family and many friends who will miss that smile and loving heart. Prayers for strength and peace in the coming days.

I know Kelly from years ago, running around Richlands mall and skate world. Kelly could skate better than most people could walk. He will never be forgotten. Rest In Peace Kelly.
