Mr. Kevin Edward Peck, age 28, of Spanishburg, West Virginia, passed away Saturday (January 25, 2020) in a Roanoke, Virginia hospital. Born July 4, 1991 in Richlands, Virginia, he was a son of Rita Lowe Peck of the home and the late Michael Edward Peck. He had spent most of his life in the Tazewell County, Virginia area. A friend to everyone he met, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, but most of all spending time with family and friends.
In addition to his mother, survivors include one brother, Scott “Melvin” Peck and wife, Kayla of Weston, West Virginia and Renae Thompson and husband, Adam of Princeton, West Virginia; six nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly, Joseph Peck, Alexis Peck, Michael Thompson, Laken Thompson, Daniel Thompson, and Destiny Thompson; paternal grandfather, Clarence Peck; special friends, Little Allen Thompson, Adam Thompson, Jeremy Cordle, Chris Parson, Monroe Flanagan, and Bryant Flanagan; canine companion, Sampson; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Rev. Danny Houchins officiating. Interment will follow in the Stuart Memorial Cemetery on Kents Ridge, Virginia.
Pallbearers will be Bryant Flanagan, Monroe Flanagan, Jeremy Cordle, Jacob Lester, Richard Hess, Chris Corvin, and Zack Gross.
Honorary pallbearer will be Josh Brown and Junior Flanagan.
The family will receive friends at the Honaker Funeral Home from 12:30 – 2PM Friday.
