Obituary for Linda "Faye" Keen (Ray)

Linda “Faye” Keen, age 76, of the Dye Hollow section of Swords Creek, Virginia, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday (June 2, 2021) in a Richlands, Virginia hospital. Born April 11, 1945 in Russell County, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Claude and Pauline Perkins Ray. A lifelong resident of the area, she was a devoted Christian and a member of Perkins Chapel. She loved the Lord, her church, and her family and will be missed by those who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of forty-three years, Paul Berkley Keen, Sr. and one brother, Ralph Ray.
Survivors include three children, Thomas Keen and wife, Jessica, Paul B. Keen, Jr. and wife, Donna and Rhonda Keen and husband, Stevie all of Swords Creek, Virginia; ten grandchildren, Eugene Keen and wife, Lakin, Britnee Keen, Santanna Sutherland, Jesse Sutherland, Joseph Sutherland, Amanda Keen, Morgan Keen, Breanna Keen, Justin Shelton and Chelsie Shelton; eleven great-grandchildren, Rylee, Alex, Eli, Colson, Kyree, Auburn, Andrew, Isaiah, Braxton, Brayden and Kynzie; eight siblings, Louie Ray, Wilma Deskins, Helen Whited, Dewey Ray, Junior Ray, Steve Ray, Robert Ray and Kenny Ray; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends and church family also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 AM Sunday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ellis Whited and Rev. Tommy Dye officiating. Interment will follow in the Silas William Boyd Cemetery in Swords Creek, Virginia.
Pallbearers will be Mark Ray, Shadow Hale, Timothy Ray, Todd Whited, Ricky Perkins, Jeff Dye, Wayne Ray and Joseph Sutherland.
Joe Robinette and Kenneth Ray, Jr. will serve as honorary pallbearers.
The family will receive friends after 6 PM Saturday at the Honaker Funeral Home where an evening service will be conducted at 7 PM with Rev. Daniel Richardson officiating.
