Linda Faye Dye Musick, age 59, of the Pine Creek section of Swords Creek, Virginia passed away Tuesday (March 1, 2022) in a Richlands, Virginia hospital. Born June 30, 1962 in Rowe, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Archie Holland and Cora Meady Street Dye. A lifelong resident of the area, she attended Prayer Warrior House at Mavisdale, Virginia. She had been employed as the manager of Family Dollar in Richlands. She enjoyed watching Pittsburgh Steelers football, fishing, singing and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Phillip Dwayne Musick; sisters, Betty Osborne, Darlene Francis and Brenda Hill and brothers, Archie Holland Dye, Jr., Dempsey Carl Dye, Larry Allen Dye and Michael James Dye.
Survivors include her husband of forty-five years, Lacy Musick of the home; children, Brian Musick and Kimberly Musick both of Honaker, Virginia; grandchildren, Hayli Vance, Travis Musick, Emily Tilley, Gracie Wolfe and Dylan Wolfe; great-grandchild, Blakley Vance; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Jackie and Gay Dye and Verlin and JoAnn Dye both of Rowe, Virginia, Billy and Sue Dye of Drill, Virginia and Jerry and Debbie Dye of Canton, Ohio; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 PM Saturday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ralph Shortridge and Rev. Leonard Meadows officiating. Interment will follow in the Stuart Memorial Cemetery at Reynold’s Ridge, Virginia. The service will be livestreamed on the Honaker Funeral Home Facebook page as well as our website.
Pallbearers will be Chris Stevens, Dakota Stevens, Bryson Vance, Danny Musick, Josh Musick, Jon Musick, Tracy Musick and Tim Dye.
Jessee Musick will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
The family will receive friends after 6 PM Friday at Honaker Funeral Home where an evening service will be conducted at 7 PM with Rev. Rondo Reynolds officiating.
