Obituary for Lora Marie Jackson (Tiller)

Lora Marie Tiller Jackson, age 44, of Honaker, Virginia, passed away Monday (May 25, 2020) in a Kingsport, Tennessee hospital. Born may 24, 1976 in Richlands, Virginia, she was a daughter of Jerl and Jeanie Childress Tiller of Bee, Virginia. She had spent most of her life in the Southwest Virginia area and was a 1993 graduate of Council High School. She had formerly been employed as a medical assistant in the Surgery Center at Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was of the Holiness faith and enjoyed animals, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ronkeith and Lora Childress, and paternal grandparents, Curtis and Marie Tiller.
In addition to her parents, survivors include two children, Kainan Jackson and Ryland Beeler of the home; one brother, Ron Curtis Tiller and wife Tammy of Bristol, Virginia; her fiancé, Michael Charles of the home; special cousin, Christopher Matherly; several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Rev. James Tiller officiating. Interment will follow in Frank Smith Cemetery on Big A Mountain, Virginia.
Pallbearers will be Chris Matherly, Kevin Childress, Luke Childress, Jared Bostic, Jack Barton, and Charles Jewel.
The family will receive friends at the Honaker Funeral Home after 6:00 PM Wednesday, where an evening song service will be conducted at 7:00 PM.
