Mr. Luther Coy Fuller, age 82, formerly of the Drill section of Honaker, Virginia, passed away Monday (May 11, 2020) in Clintwood, Virginia. Born May 13, 1937 in Drill, Virginia, he was a son of the late William Leonard and Nora Perkins Fuller. He had been a lifelong resident of the southwest Virginia area. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Leona Hatfield, Eura Meade, Helen Boyd, and Beulah Fuller, and four brothers, Carl Fuller, William “June” Fuller, James Fuller, and Earl Lee Fuller. In his generation, he was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Survivors includes one sister-in-law, Eva Fuller; one brother-in-law, Tommy Meade; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday at the Fuller Cemetery in Drill, Virginia with Rev. Roy Lee Wilson officiating. Interment will follow. Those wishing to attend are asked to assemble at the cemetery.
