Mary Whited Musick, age 87, of Honaker, Virginia, passed away Sunday (September 6, 2020) at her home. Born April 9, 1933, she was a daughter of the late High Harman and Georgia Hess Whited. A lifelong resident of the area, she was a member of the Antioch House of Prayer. Mary enjoyed listening to music and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee “Mickey” Musick; three sisters, Shirley Whited, Rachael Annette Whited, Carolyn Ferguson; two brothers, Jimmy Whited and Dewy Whited.
Survivors include five children, Roger Lee Musick and wife, Janice of Honaker, Virginia, Deborah Bernice Musick of Honaker, Virginia, Michael Joe Musick of Honaker, Virginia, Robert Musick and wife, Lisa of Dante, Virginia, Lisa Baker and husband, Douglas of Lebanon, Virginia; four grandchildren, Brian Musick, Jason Musick, Erin Nichole Musick, James David Thompson; three great-grandchildren, Elijah Musick, J.J. Jones, Christian Jones; two sisters, Della Mae Crews, Eula Wingo; one brother, Tommy Whited; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends also survive.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jason Nunley officiating. Entombment will follow at the Clinch Valley Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Richlands, Virginia.
Pallbearers will be Jason Musick, Brian Musick, James David Thompson, Willis Rasnake, Jeff Phillips, Douglas Baker, John Baker, and Jeremy Jones.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Elijah Musick, J.J. Jones, and Christian Jones.
The family will receive friends after 6:00 PM on Wednesday (September 9,2020) at the Honaker Funeral Home in Honaker, Virginia.
