Obituary for Mary Magdalene Crabtree (Musick)
Mary Magdalene Crabtree, age 59, of Honaker, Virginia, passed away Sunday (April 18, 2021) at her home. Born October 9, 1961 in Richlands, Virginia, she was a daughter of Bertha Jane Hurt Musick of Honaker and the late Horace Musick. A lifelong resident of the area, she was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith. She had a servant’s heart, always making sure others’ needs were met.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one sister, Sandra Street.
In addition to her mother, survivors include two daughters, Emily Crabtree and Melissa Chambers; four grandchildren, Mark Travis Combs, Kristie Breedlove and husband, Matthew, Gabriela Hernandez, and Esmirelda Hernandez; great-grandson, Carter William Combs; lifelong friend and companion, Barry Compton; one brother, Horace Musick, Jr.
Private family funeral services will be conducted at 12 Noon Wednesday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Rev. Rodney Wolford officiating. Interment will follow in Ketron Memorial Gardens at Lebanon, Virginia.
Relatives and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Due to COVID restrictions mandated by the governor, a mask is required.
