Obituary for Mary Hubbard (Johnson)
Mrs. Mary Hubbard, age 71, of Swords Creek, Virginia, passed away Tuesday (December 21, 2021) at her home. Born June 18, 1950 in Buchanan County, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Loney Whitt Johnson. A lifelong resident of the area, she was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she enjoyed reading her Bible and spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Judith Johnson and infant, Darlis Johnson.
Survivors include her husband of fifty-three years, Kirby Hubbard of the home; four children, Pam Hubbard and husband, Scott of Swords Creek, Kris Mutter and husband, Wes of Belfast, Marleana Hubbard of the home, and Randall Hubbard and wife, Jamie of Swords Creek; grandchildren, Alyssa Whited and husband, Matt, Nick Hubbard and wife, Cheyenne, Heath Hubbard, Amber Blankenship and husband, Jeff, Corey Lowe and wife, Allison, Shea Whited, Michaela Barnett, Trey Hubbard, Jasmine Hubbard, Kaylee Blazier, and Ariel Stanley; great-grandchildren, Aleeah Adkins, Grace and Isabella Blankenship; sister, Ferne Hubbard; brother, Paul Johnson, Jr.; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 PM Monday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Rev. Wayne Hubbard and Rev. Archie Hubbard officiating. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday in Ketron Memorial Gardens at Lebanon, Virginia. Those wishing to attend are asked to assemble at the funeral home by 10:30 AM to go in procession.

Pallbearers will be Nick Hubbard, Corey Lowe, Shea Whited, Heath Hubbard, Trey Hubbard, and Jeff Blankenship.
Honorary pallbearers will be Alyssa Whited, Amber Blankenship, Michaela Barnett, Jasmine Hubbard, Aleeah Adkins, Cheyenne Hubbard, Allison Lowe, Kaylee Blazier, Ariel Stanley, Matt Whited, Grace and Isabella Blankenship.
The family will receive friends at the Honaker Funeral Home on Monday after 6:00 PM.
