Obituary for Norma Jean Boyd (Eads)

Mrs. Norma Jean Boyd, age 76, of the Finney section of Honaker, Virginia, passed away Sunday (December 6, 2020) at her home. Born August 11, 1944 in Page, West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Charlie Robert and Dixie Lee Cook Eads. She had lived most of her life in the southwest Virginia area and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed playing bingo and fishing, but most of all spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Roy, Thurman, J.C., and Basil Eads, and two sisters, Janice Price and Eloise Kiser.
Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Boyd; five children, Mona Lisa Harris Barton, Anna Carol Artrip and husband, Kermit, Ira Keith Eads, Mirandia Musick and husband, Stan, and Jessica Dawn Bostic and husband, Gerald; twelve grandchildren, Michael Hubbard, Jason Hubbard, Amber Artrip Vance, Anthony Hart, Heather Sanders, Ira Eads, Jr., Eric Eads, Charlie Eads, Lexi Musick, Isabellia Boyd, Andy Combs, and Jeania Bostic; one sister, Phyllis Crabtree; thirteen grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Rev. Leon Musick officiating. Interment will follow in Ketron Memorial Gardens at Lebanon, Virginia.
Pallbearers will be Ira Eads, Jr., Eric Eads, Robert Vance, Dustin Sanders, Brennan Meade, and Charlie Eads.
Honorary pallbearers will be Caleb Hubbard, Dailen Sanders, Skylar Hubbard, and Andy Combs.
Due to COVID restrictions mandated by the governor, a mask is required. For those unable or uncomfortable attending, the service will be livestreamed on our Facebook page as well as our webpage.
The family will receive friends at the Honaker Funeral Home after 6:00 PM Tuesday.
