Obituary for Pauline Miller (Richardson)

Mrs. Pauline Richardson Miller, age 79, of Swords Creek, Virginia, passed away Monday (May 17, 2021) in a Johnson City, Tennessee hospital. Born May 22, 1941 in Swords Creek, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Albert Earnest and Ruth Virginiabelle Davis Richardson. A lifelong resident of the area, she was a member of the Swords Creek Block Church. She formerly been employed as a seamstress at Honaker Mills for many years and had later worked for the Appalachian Agency. She loved sewing, crocheting, and embroidery, but most of all spending time with her family and church family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Junior Miller, one son, Ronald Dean Miller, paternal grandparents, Floyd and Ollie Short Richardson, maternal grandparents, Reece and Catherine Ball Davis, five brothers, Arnold, Elmer, Claude, Olbert, and David Richardson, three sisters, Agnes Dickerson, Clara Johnson, and Katherine Messick, five nephews, and one niece.
Those left to cherish her memory are her grandson, Justin Dean Miller and wife, Brittney; two granddaughters, Raegan Boyd and Kara Boyd; four great-grandsons, Hayden Robinson, Kamden Robinson, Carsen Miller, and Masen Miller; one brother, Daniel Richardson and wife, Connie; a host of nieces, nephews, and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 PM Wednesday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Rev. Steve Perkins officiating. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday in Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, Virginia. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to assemble at the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Dennis Richardson, Rodney Richardson, Justin Miller, Josh Rowe, Jake Kincaid, Scotty Richardson, Levi Maxfield, and Darrell Huffine.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6 PM – 7 PM at the Honaker Funeral Home.
