Obituary for Randall "Andy" Anthony Cordle

Randall Anthony Cordle better known as “Andy”, age 43, began rejoicing in Glory on May 14, 2021. Born May 4, 1978 in Richlands, Virginia, he was the son of the late Randall W. Cordle and Barbara Cox and stepdad Ricky. A lifelong resident of the area, he was a 1996 graduate of Honaker High School and a 2000 graduate of Emory & Henry College. Andy was a dedicated employee of New Peoples Bank for more than 20 years where he was a cherished co-worker and friend. He enjoyed serving the community as a loan officer and most recently manager of the Honaker branch. He was a devoted Christian and faithful member of Church Alive where he served as a Trustee and children’s church pastor with his wife Traci. The congregation was delighted to hear him sing as a part of the choir. He was an avid hunter and his passion was fishing. He accomplished many things in life but by far the one he was most proud of was his little buddy, JKC (Jenson Keith Cordle).
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Dewey and Mary Frances Taylor, paternal grandparents Brownie and Dee Cordle and grandmother of love, Linda Boyd.
In addition to his mother and step-father, those left to cherish his memory include his wife and soulmate Traci Lester Cordle and son Jenson Keith Cordle. One sister, Regina Kinder. Sister-in-law and living donor, Jenny Curry and husband Dan and nephew, Hagin. Father and Mother-in-Law, Gerald and Pam Lester. Special Uncle, Jim Taylor and wife, Nancy. Special hunting and fishing brothers, Curtis Ramey, Chad Taylor, Dennis Taylor, John Taylor. And a host of family and friends also survive.
The family would like to extend a special love and appreciation to the Church Alive congregation and prayer team.
Celebration of Life will be at 7:00 PM Sunday at the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia.
The family will receive friends at 5:00 pm Sunday prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his honor to the Jensen Cordle College Fund, P.O. Box 1551, Honaker, Virginia 24260.
