Mr. Randall Lee Blevins, age 74, of Granite Falls, North Carolina, passed away Thursday (January 28, 2021) at his home. Born December 2, 1946, he was a son of the late Tivis and Edith Jessee Blevins. A longtime employee of Norfolk & Southern Railroad, he retired after thirty-seven years of service. He was a member of Dry Pond Baptist Church in Granite Falls. He enjoyed fishing, football, and Nascar races, but most of all spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife of forty-four years, Gerelene Harris Blevins of the home; two sons, Shawn Michael Blevins of Dallas, Texas and Terry Blevins and wife, Angie of Granite Falls; one brother, Alfred Lynn Blevins and wife, Elizabeth of Bristol, Virginia; special sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Helen Chafin and husband, Mike and Alfred Roman and wife, Jessica.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Sunday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Pastor Rob Evans officiating. Interment will follow in Russell Memorial Cemetery at Lebanon, Virginia.
Pallbearers will be Chris Chafin, Randy Chafin, Mike Chafin, and Alfred Roman.
The family will receive friends at the Honaker Funeral Home on Saturday from 6 – 7 PM.
