Mr. Richard Lee Plaster, age 72, of Swords Creek, Virginia, passed away Saturday (December 10, 2022) in a Richlands, Virginia hospital. Born September 17, 1950 in Richlands, Virginia, he was a son of the late John Harvey and Mary Alice Rose Plaster. A lifelong resident of the area, he was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Calvin Douglas Plaster.
Survivors include his wife of forty-seven years, Patricia “Trish” Plaster; one son, Sean Plaster; two sisters, Janet Perkins and Carolyn Blaylock; and one nephew, Nathaniel Blaylock.
Private family services will be conducted at a later date.
