Mr. Ronnie “Frank” Franklin Robinette, age 66, of the Horton Ridge section of Swords Creek, Virginia passed away Sunday (December 12, 2021) in a Tazewell, Virginia hospital. Born February 13, 1955 in Richlands, Virginia, he was a son of the late Howard Junior and Gladys Plaster Robinette. A lifelong resident of the area, he was a member of Mt. Pleasant Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding four-wheelers.
Survivors include eight siblings, Mary Hess, Ruby Marie Byrd, Carolyn Hall and husband, Rev. James Hall, James Howard Robinette and wife, Joyce, John Perry Robinette, Edward Lee Robinette and wife, Sharon, Roy Allen Robinette, and Margarett Robinette; nieces and nephews, Loretta Hall, Charlotte Church and husband, David, Judy Meadows and husband, Bradley, Rhonda Robinette, Noah Byrd, Randy Byrd, Barry Hess, and Kay Keen and husband, Scotty; great-nieces and great-nephews, Matthew Robinette, Arminda Byrd, Destiny Meadows, Hannah Meadows, and Dakota Byrd.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Saturday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Rev. Jim Richardson, Rev. Jeff Ball, and Rev. Claude Ray, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Robinette Cemetery on Horton Ridge, Virginia.
Pallbearers will be Noah Byrd, David Church, Scotty Keen, Barry Hess, Matthew Robinette, and Bradley Meadows.
The family will receive friends at the Honaker Funeral Home after 6:00 PM Friday, where an evening song service will be conducted at 7:00 PM.
