Sallie Irene Breedlove, at the tender age of ninety-five years and four months, the woman fondly called “Bee,” gently departed this earth of on the wings of her angel on June 28, 2022. She was a lifelong resident of Lynn Springs Road.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charley E. Breedlove, her parents, Mart and Mary Brown; four sisters and three brothers.
Survivors include her children, Judy Wells of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; David Breedlove and wife, Rhonda of Harrogate, Tennessee and Gary Breedlove and wife, Lisa of Lynn Springs, Virginia; three grandchildren, Andrea Ralsten, David Matthew Breedlove and wife, Loren of Knoxville, Tennessee and Aric Wells and wife, Anna of Gunterville, Alabama and step-granddaughter Corie Belle Dye of Swords Creek, Virginia; four great-grandchildren, Carolyn, Camden, McKinley and Evelyn Wells; one brother, Charley Mac Brown and wife, Frances; many nieces and nephews also survive.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nursing staff of Commonwealth Senior Living and Legacy Hospice of Richlands, Virginia.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 AM Saturday (July 2, 2022) in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Junior Ray and Rev. Steve Ray officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, Virginia.
Pallbearers will be Joe Brown, Johnny Brown, Jerry Monk, Jack Ward, C.L. Boyd, Terry Casey and Roger Brown.
Honorary pallbearers will be Cecil Dye, Stanley Keen, Gage Ray, Joe Shelton and Rodney Lester.
The family will receive friends at Honaker Funeral Home after 6 PM Friday.
