Shirley Matney was a wonderful friend, co-worker, and mother. Shirley was with us at Garden High School for many years. it was there that we came to be great friends. I taught members of her family - everyone a joy. It is with great sadness that I learn of her passing. I am not well enough to attend the funeral, but please know that I will be there with you in my thoughts and prayers. Love and sympathy to all.
