Obituary for Susan Annette Stiltner (Meadows)

Mrs. Susan Annette Meadows Stiltner, age 43, of Rosedale, Virginia, passed away Friday (July 31, 2020) in Lebanon, Virginia. Born March 16, 1977 in Richlands, Virginia, she was a lifelong resident of southwest Virginia and a 1995 graduate of Garden High School. She was a member of Wilson’s Chapel and currently employed by New Peoples Bank. She was always up to try anything new, enjoying the outdoors, hunting, kayaking, but most of all spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Rev. Dexter and Ida Meadows, and maternal grandfather, Carl Eugene “Johnny” Thompson.
Survivors include her husband, Christopher Evan Stiltner of the home; step-son, Evan Robert Stiltner of the home; mother, Catherine Thompson Hess and husband, Leon of Honaker; father, Lawrence Meadows and companion, Sylvia of Page; brother, Andrew Scott McGhee and wife, Susie of Honaker; sister, Trista Dawn Hale and husband, Michael of Lebanon; maternal grandmother, Mary Louise Thompson of Honaker; niece and nephews, Liam, Kyleigh, and Levi; special friends, Giles and Wanda Fields also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Rev. Jeff Ball officiating. Interment will follow in the Ball Cemetery on the Lewis Creek section of Honaker, Virginia.
Relatives and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers Raymond Meadows and Giles “Smokey” Fields.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday at 6:00 PM at the Honaker Funeral Home where an evening service will be conducted at 7:00 PM with Rev. Leonard Meadows officiating.
