Sylvia Sue Lambert Tiller, age 76, of East Bend, North Carolina, passed away on Tuesday (September 1, 2020) in Yadkinville, North Carolina. Born October 30, 1943 in Tarpon, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Elizabeth Etter Lambert. Formally of Lebanon, Virginia, she worked many years at Lebanon Apparel and was of the Baptist Faith. Sylvia enjoyed caring for her cats and keeping in touch with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Amos Taft Tiller; one son, Timothy Henry Tiller; two brothers, Pete Lambert, Maynard Lambert; one sister, Goldie Baldwin; one niece, Sherry Lynn Deel; three nephews, John Baldwin, Petie Lambert, and Chris Lambert.
Survivors include Sandra Bullins and husband, Danny of East Bend, North Carolina; two grandsons, Cagney Allen Henley and Misty Richardson of Booneville, North Carolina, Timothy Allen Tiller and Tina Hodges of East Bend, North Carolina; five great grandchildren, Donavon Allen Sanders, Devin Alexander Sanders, Kerry Camron Henley, Leyla Faye Tiller, Brooks Logan Tiller; one sister, Mae Dillow; nine nieces and nephews, Wayne Lambert, Carol Lynn Kolberer, Karen Sue Jacquenin, Andra Wallace, Dana Bowen, Teresa Bailey, Dreama Sutphin, Randy Dillow, Mickey Lambert; special family and friends, Sharon Greene and Family, Andra Kay McCrackin and Family, Judy Mayes, Beverly Sutherland, and several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends also survive.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 12 noon on Thursday (September, 3, 2020) in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in the Frank Smith Cemetery on Big A Mountain, Virginia.
Pallbearers will be Cagney Henley, Donavon Sanders, Devin Sanders, Danny Bullins, Timothy Tiller, and Wayne Lambert.
The family will receive friends Thursday starting at 10:00 AM till the funeral hour.
