Tammy Diana Kitts, age 56 of Castlewood, Virginia, formally of Honaker, Virginia, passed away Tuesday (June 2, 2020) in a Kingsport, Tennessee Hospital. Born March 14, 1964 in Lawton, Oklahoma, she was a daughter of Stella Hale and Stan Hale. Spending most of her life in Southwest Virginia, she worked as an Aid at Greendale Nursing Home. Tammy enjoyed Crocheting, quilting, and spending time coloring with her Grandbabies.
She was preceded in death by one grandson, Frank James Ratliff.
In addition to her parents, survivors include three children, Christopher Kitts and wife, Amanda of Belfast, Virginia, Crystal Ratliff and husband, Jessie of Council, Virginia, Mandy Minton and husband Cody of Lebanon, Virginia; eight grandchildren, Abagail, Bentley, Benjamin, Autumn, Carrie, Kadence, Hayden, Jacob; one brother, Lloyd Stephens; one sister, Stephanie Hester; special friend, Doug Kitts and wife, Dana of Honaker, Virginia; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends also survive.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel in Honaker, Virginia, with Rev. Chester Ball officiating. Interment will follow in the Hess Cemetery in Swords Creek, Virginia.
Pallbearers will be Andy Kitts, Jessie Ratliff, Cody Minton, Jamie Dye, and Robert Vance.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask for memorial contributions to be made to Honaker Funeral Home in memory of Tammy.
