Obituary for Terry Dean Combs
Mr. Terry Dean Combs, age 52, of the Combs Ridge section of Honaker, Virginia, passed away Sunday (April 2, 2023) in Boone, North Carolina. Born February 24, 1971 in Lebanon, Virginia, he was a son of Retha Barton Combs and the late Gary Daniel Combs, Sr. He was a lifelong resident of the area and enjoyed drawing. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Gary Combs, Jr., Charles David Combs, and Mark Combs.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his daughter, Stephanie Leona-Mae Nielsen and husband, Zackary of Huntington, Indiana; one sister, Gail Musick of Combs Ridge; seven grandchildren, Jonathan Hayden Nielsen, Adisyn Nielsen, Tristyn Nielsen, Gavin Nielsen, Alexys Nielsen, Annabelle Nielsen, and Emory Nielsen; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Rev. Robert Tiller officiating. Interment will follow in the Combs Family Cemetery at Finney, Virginia.
Pallbearers will be Jady Street, Billy Street, Andy Combs, Nathan Combs, Chase Combs, and Travis Combs.
The family will receive friends at the Honaker Funeral Home on Wednesday from 1 – 2PM.
