Mr. Terry Lee Snead, age 63, of Honaker, Virginia, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, July 1, 2022. Born January 2, 1959 in Richlands, Virginia, he was a son of the late Ernest “Lee” and Shelby Jean Cox Snead. A 1977 graduate of Honaker High School, he went on to further his education at Bluefield College earning a Bachelors Degree in Information Technology. He had formerly been employed by EDS and New Peoples Bank. He enjoyed sports and was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and Duke Blue Devils. He loved joking and kidding around with his family and friends, always trying to make you laugh. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, whom he loved dearly.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two daughters, Krista Lee Snead and Casey Elizabeth Snead.
Survivors include one daughter, Sarah Outen and husband, Chris of Garner, North Carolina; two grandchildren, Jaxson and Macy Outen; one sister, Alicia McGlothlin and husband, Scott of Honaker; one niece, Ashlee Newberry and husband, Brandon of Rosedale; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends also survive.
Celebration of Life services will be conducted at 6:00 PM, Friday, August 5, 2022 at Rosedale Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Kinder and Rev. Stevie Hess officiating.
