Trimadona Donna Pruitt, age 74, of Raven, Virginia, passed away Monday (March 20, 2023) at her home. Born November 24, 1948 in Portsmouth, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Thelma Jessee Brown. She had spent most of her life in the area and was of the Pentecostal faith. She enjoyed working on crafts, but her greatest love came from spending time with her children and grandchildren whom she loved dearly.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Evon Williams, one granddaughter, Ashley Danielle Shortridge, and three brothers, Ricky Brown, Jerry Brown, and George Brown.
Survivors include two children, Penny Lynn Cook and fiancé, Kerry Helton of Raven and Stephen Pruitt of Claypool Hill; six siblings, Larry Franklin, Walter Franklin, Ruth Brown, Ricky Franklin, Laurin Boyce, Candace Wade, and Shelia Whatley; grandchildren, Justin Scott Collins, Ryan Houston Williams, Morgan Brittany Williams, Andrew Arthur Caleb Collins, Mollie Lorine LeeAnn Collins, and Madison Beth Cook; great-grandchildren, Brodie Dylan Collins, Payton McKinley Collins, Berklei Autumn Collins, Piper Neeley, and Cole Rees; several nieces and nephews also survive.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Legacy Hospice and Dr. Kenneth McVey for the care they provided.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12 Noon on Thursday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Revs. W.L. and Janice Franklin, Rev. Charlie McGlothlin, and Rev. Grady McGlothlin officiating. Interment will follow in Clinch Valley Memorial Cemetery at Richlands, Virginia.
Pallbearers will be Kerry Helton, Justin Collins, Andrew Collins, Trinity Ramey, Shane Roberts, Dylan Collins, and Payton Collins.
Relatives and friends will serve as honorary pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the Honaker Funeral Home after 6:00 PM Wednesday.
