Mr. Virgil Eugene Justice, age 75, of the Belfast section of Cedar Bluff, Virginia, passed away Friday (April 30, 2021) in a Lebanon, Virginia hospital. Born June 9, 1945 in Buchanan County, Virginia, he was a son of the late Cleman and Virginia Stiltner Justice. A lifelong resident of southwest Virginia, he was a member of Pisgah Holiness Church. He was a retired coal miner and member of the UMWA.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruby Justice, and three brothers, Robert Justice, Eddie Justice, and Herbert Justice.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Justice of the home; sons, Brian Dye-Justice and Michael Dye-Justice, Chuck Justice, and Randall Justice all of Abingdon, and Jimmy Justice and wife, Catherine of Florida; two brothers, Ray Justice and Donnie Justice; two sisters, Ruth Ann Ratliff and Helen Maxwell; six grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:30 AM Tuesday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Rev. Mike Altizer officiating. Interment will follow in the Justice Cemetery at Page, Virginia.
Pallbearers will be Steven Carrillo, Trey Etheridge, Justin Neece, Michael Dye-Justice, Isaac Helton, and Jordan Helton.
Honorary pallbearers will be Donald Justice, Ray Justice, Stephen Helton, and Sidney Helton.
Due to COVID restrictions mandated by the governor, a mask is required.
The family will receive friends at the Honaker Funeral Home after 6:00 PM Monday.
