Obituary for Willard Stanley Reynolds

Mr. Willard Stanley Reynolds, age 76, of the Kent’s Ridge section of Honaker, Virginia, passed away Monday (March 23, 2020) in a Lebanon, Virginia hospital. Born December 10, 1943 in Russell County, Virginia, he was a son of the late John Harry and Mimiah Bell Peck Reynolds. A lifelong resident of the area, he had formerly been employed at Hart Brothers’ Sawmill. He enjoyed coloring and his cats, but most of all spending time with his family.
Survivors include two brothers, Earl “Joe” Reynolds of Honaker and Buford Reynolds of Rowe; three nieces, Donna Palmer, Melissa Smith, and Kayla Reynolds all of Honaker; two nephews, John Reynolds of Honaker and Earl Reynolds of Saltville; four great-nephews, Travis Palmer, Lucas Palmer, Scotty Smith, and Colton Reynolds; three great-nieces, Courtney Charles, Hailey Smith, and Isabella Reynolds; and one great-great-nephew, Walker Palmer.
In consideration of health and well-being of others, the funeral service will be a private family gathering with Rev. Roy Lee Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in the Reynolds Cemetery near the home on Kent’s Ridge, Virginia.
Pallbearers will be Travis Palmer, Lucas Palmer, Kenny Palmer, Cody Charles, Earl Reynolds, and Jamie Smith.
Honorary pallbearers will be Scotty Smith and Colton Reynolds.
