Obituary

Mrs. Annette “Suzy Q” Webb, age 56 of Raven, Virginia, was called home late Sunday night (June 21, 2020. Born August 13, 1963 in Flint, Michigan, she eventually moved to Virginia. She was a 1982 graduate from Garden High School and from there she started her amazing journey. She was a devoted wife and the greatest mom any child could ask for; however, what brought her the most joy in life was being “Nannie” and “Grandma Suzy” to her six wonderful grandchildren. Whether you knew her for twenty years and twenty minutes, you couldn’t help but love her. She was everything you could ask for and more.
Suzy was preceded in death by her husband of thirty years, Scottie Dean Webb; her father, Elmer “Bud” Pruitt; one brother, Matthew “Matt-Man” Pruitt; and brother-in-law, Joey W. Webb.
Survivors include her mother, Reba Ann Pruitt and Marvin Bailey of Narrows, Virginia; two sons, Jonathan Webb and Crystal Shaw of Raven, and Christopher Webb and Jessica Helton of Big Rock; six amazing grandchildren, Morgan smith, Trinity Webb, Alexis Webb, Joey Webb, Victorious Webb, and Scottie Matthew Webb; siblings, Lisa Hale and husband, Stoney of Grundy, Krissi Griffey and Shayne Kiser of Rosedale, Jennifer Nunley and husband, Gary of Tazewell, and Randy Pruitt and wife, Victoria of Blountville; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Rev. Grady McGlothlin officiating. Interment will follow in the Moore Family Cemetery on Red Root Ridge, Virginia.
Pallbearers will be Christian Hall, Logan Hall, Anthony Hays, Joshua Jeter, Earnest Gross, Johnny Gross, David Stafford, and Stoney Hale, II.
The family will receive friends at the Honaker Funeral Home on Thursday from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour.

I only met Suzy a couple of times but she was the type that made you want to sit and talk. I nicknamed her "hot foot" because of her driving. My heart goes out to her sweet mother and also her sisters.

There’s so many words to describe Suzy, one would be not even close enough! She was a wonderful wife most of her life, wonderful until the day she left to be with Scottie and the best friend, sister and just everything in anyway!!! She was one of the most Amazing people you could have ever known and all of those qualities came from an amazing , wonderful & strongest Mother anyone could & should have as I do too, but she was my 2 mom so I was truly blessed to have 2!! Honestly, the Pruitt family was a wonderful family the closest knit family you rarely see anymore and I’m truly blessed to have always been able to call them my 2nd family and treated as one Of there own for as long as I can remember and I don’t doubt for a second that I always will even though Suzy, one of the best has to go so early but she’s with her one true love, Scottie Webb. I will always love you, cherish oh the many, c many good and bad times Sister Susie-Q and you’ll never ever be forgotten and always cherished and carried in my heart. I’m going to miss that phone call, that loud car pull, that accent but most of all the friend of a sister that comes so very rare, I love and will miss sooo very much! But knowing your at peace and not sick anymore helps the pain that so many are feeling right now!
